Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for services provided by inLimbo Construction (owned by Kain Consultants LLC). By booking a service, funding a phase, or using our website, you agree to this policy.

Once a construction phase is funded and work has started, refunds are not available. This follows the Terms of Service, which state that the only time a client may exit a project is after a phase is completed and before the next phase is funded.

If you choose not to continue to the next phase, you may stop at that point with no penalty, but completed or active phases cannot be refunded.

A refund may be issued only if:

• You funded a phase,

• Work has not started, and

• No materials have been purchased for your project.

Once materials are purchased or contractors are scheduled, the phase is considered “in progress,” and refunds are no longer available.

If you choose to use a third‑party escrow provider such as Escrow.com:

• All escrow fees are paid by the client.

• Refunds follow the rules of that escrow provider.

• inLimbo Construction does not control or guarantee third‑party refund timelines.

Any approved refund may exclude:

• Administrative processing fees

• Bank or transfer fees

• Third‑party escrow fees

• Currency conversion losses

These costs are non‑refundable.

Delays caused by weather, supply issues, or regulatory requirements do not qualify for refunds. Reasonable extensions may be granted as outlined in the Terms of Service.

If a project is terminated due to fraud, breach of contract, or refusal to perform by any party, refunds will be handled according to the Terms of Service and applicable U.S. or Zimbabwean law.

If a refund request is tied to a legal or law‑enforcement matter in Zimbabwe, we may be required to provide documentation, agreements, payment records, and communication logs as part of the investigation. Information is only released when required under Zimbabwean law.

We will review your request within 5 business days and confirm eligibility
